I have been knitting for almost 40 years and have been designing my own sweaters and cardigans for a while now. The only thing has been that I had been calculating, designing and knitting for myself or my family mostly until friends encouraged me to formally write down my patterns and designs. So, I have starting doing so.
After my initial shock over just how much work it is to write down my designs in a way that others can understand and actually follow the instructions... I have so far published three patterns and am currently working on a few more.
